Scarface, As An 8-Bit Cinema Remake

The Dutton brothers seemed to have found the perfect property to match with their 8-Bit Cinema treatment. Having done 8-Bit versions of major Hollywood films (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc.) they seemed to have returned back to doing fun projects that they have a passion for.

Their newest project is an 8-Bit Cinema rendition of the 1983 coked out Brian De Palma classic, “Scarface”. With an opening reminiscent of SNK’s 1988 game, “P.O.W. Prisoners of War”, and an overall aesthetic reference to the NES version of “Double Dragon”, the Dutton brothers are spot on covering every major narrative note of the film in pixel perfect tone.
